The purpose of this research is to use Thai heritage culture as the inspiration for an animation short film. In 2022, our Animation Studio class experimented by dividing 41 students into 9 groups of 4-5 people each. These students were inspired by Thai heritage arts and culture to create short animations that explored concepts such as Ban Chiang, Dvaravati, and Lawo civilizations. They sought information about both tangible and intangible elements in order to create visuals for narration in their animation. The students' animations were able to effectively demonstrate the aesthetic appeal of Thai heritage arts and culture. This was an initial assessment, however, and further validation is required for a definitive outcome.
